Vietjet launches four new routes between India and Vietnam

Direct flights from Mumbai to Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi will start operating on June 3 and 4, 2022 with a frequency of four and three flights per week, respectively. From September 9 on the route Mumbai — Phu Quoc will fly four flights a week, while the schedule from New Delhi to this resort town has three flights weekly.

Before the pandemic, Vietjet had two direct routes linking the Indian capital New Delhi with the capital Vietnam Hanoi and financial center Ho Chi Minh City. They were supplemented by charters from Vietnam to Bodhgaya — place of pilgrimage for Indian Buddhists. The two existing flights from New Delhi to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi will soon resume on 29 and 30 April 2022, respectively. Declared frequency — three times a week on each route.

The duration of the flight between India and Vietnam is just over five hours. According to experts, a convenient schedule on each of the six direct routes will create much more opportunities for trade and tourism between the two countries, helping to stimulate both economies.

Remember, India has a population of about 1.4 billion people.
