So, PCR tests for travelers to the UAE have been cancelled, but the rules, which come into effect on Tuesday, March 29, require all visitors to the Emirates to take an exponential in-depth rapid test — Exponential Deep Examination (EDE) and waited for the result before they were allowed to enter the country.
All passengers on land-based personal and public vehicles are required to pass an EDE. This is a prerequisite for entry into the country, according to a statement from the National Emergency Management and Disaster Management Administration (NCEMA) and the Federal Identification, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security Authority.
The officials also stressed the need compliance with the Green Pass protocol when entering various events, tourist and cultural sites, as well as other places where the presentation of the Green Pass was previously required as a prerequisite for visiting.
