From June 1, Ethiopian Airlines is increasing the number of flights from the Ethiopian capital to Moscow Domodedovo Airport. This was reported by the press service of the air harbor.

The national state airline of Ethiopia with a route network of more than 125 cities around the world, puts more flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport. From the beginning of the summer period, it will be possible to travel to Addis Ababa from DME four times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

This news takes on additional meaning due to the fact that this destination is unique to Moscow air hub — You can fly to Ethiopia only from Domodedovo.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner operates on the route, travel time is 8 hours. Both flights are overnight.

Ticket prices depend on specific dates. For the week from June 2 to June 9, a ticket at the rate “Economy Half Flex” – the cheapest fare – will cost 83 145 rubles “round trip”. 

The air carrier and the air harbor have been cooperating since 2018. During this time, the companies jointly served almost 113 thousand passengers.
