Switzerland lifts all entry restrictions for foreign tourists from May 2

“The current entry restrictions will be lifted from May 2nd. From this date, the normal rules for entry into Switzerland will apply, — according to a statement from the country's State Secretariat for Migration. Currently, all foreigners must have a valid vaccination or health certificate in order to be allowed to enter Switzerland freely.

As soon as the new entry rules come into effect, travelers will no longer need vaccination or recovery documents. The Swiss authorities have explained that from May 2, foreign tourists will, as before, only need a valid passport and visa to cross the Swiss border. Last — if necessary.
