For the first time in more than two years, local residents and tourists traveling to Singapore will no longer be required to wear masks indoors, except on public transport and high-risk locations such as healthcare facilities.
The city-state's Ministry of Health also updated the rules for unvaccinated travelers, removing the mandatory 7-day quarantine requirement. The new rule comes into force from next week. Unvaccinated travelers will be required to take a negative test within two days of travel.
It is precisely this easing of those who for some reason refused to be vaccinated that makes Singapore even more attractive for tourists going to the gastronomic tour of world-class venues, the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix in October, or other events this year.
