City of Subotica
Acquaintance with the country accepted start from the capital, but we highly recommend visiting Subotica. This city is located near the Hungarian border, so it is filled with a special flavor. There are quaint Art Nouveau houses and fundamental neo-Gothic buildings. It is worth going to Subotica for local wine (there are many vineyards) and long walks.
How to get there: you can get from Belgrade to Subotica by bus or train. The second travels only about 2 hours, fare: 3 – 7 euros.
