Passenger Climbing Center opens at Munich Airport

Climbing center for passengers opened at Munich Airport

After two years of absence due to the coronavirus pandemic Munich Franz Josef Strauss International Airport is rapidly coming to life and returning to normal. From Wednesday, August 9 to September 11, 2022, airport guests and passengers can test their personal abilities at dizzying heights by visiting the KristallTurm rope attraction.

This leisure and sports complex was designed and built exclusively for Munich Airport by a partner in collaboration with KristallTurm.

Subject to all safety measures, secured with real climbing harnesses, those who want to tickle their nerves can try their hand at various climbing stations. They are on three levels. The maximum height of the attraction is 15 meters and its diameter is 23 meters. There is entertainment with a DJ around the ropes course, and the Sausalitos Airport Bar is open with comfortable seating and sun loungers. Opening hours of the site — from 12:00 to 22:00.
