The new scheme for entering Thailand without PCR tests will be effective from May 1

Effective May 1, 2022, entry requirements for travelers arriving in Thailand by air will change. 

Fully vaccinated travelersonly need the following documents: 

Valid passport;

Vaccination certificate;

Proof of insurance with at least $10,000 coverage.

Unvaccinated/under-vaccinated travelers will need: 

A valid passport;

Vaccination certificate;

Proof of insurance with no coverage less than $10,000;

Negative PCR test done within 72 hours before departure. 

If an unvaccinated traveler If a veneer cannot provide a negative test result, he will have to undergo a 5-day quarantine by purchasing a special “quarantine bag”.

If you have an existing Thailand Pass of the old type, which has already been approved , re-registration to receive a new document is not required. You can enter and travel with the issued QR code.
