 A new family resort has opened on Koh Samui in Thailand

After a complete renovation and renovation on the Thai island of Koh Samui opened a beach family resort. There are currently 44 premium rooms available for booking, the remaining 102 superior rooms will open in November 2022.

Guests can already experience the main amenities of the resort, ideal for families with children, today. First of all, this is the Edgewater beach club with three pool areas and a children's water slide. It is the only one of its kind on this part of the island. Guests can also enjoy the signature Voyager 47 Club Lounge, Coral Kids Club and Game Room, a fully equipped fitness center and a refurbished main lobby.

Premium Rooms include 12 57m2 Club Garden Rooms, 12 Lamai Garden Suites (70 m2) and 20 Premier Lamai Garden Suites (80 m2).

Each room has a spacious, separate living room and a large four-poster bed. The décor is done in relaxing tropical colors, combining modern design with soft colonial accents. The luxurious marble bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub.

All Premium Room guests have exclusive access to the Voyager 47 Club Lounge with all-day soft drinks, afternoon snacks and evening cocktails with the Chef's tasting plate.

Each resort room has a balcony or French style terrace

Outrigger took over the resort in July 2021. The redesign was led by Bangkok-based architecture firm Santhaya + Associates (S+A) and longtime partner Outrigger design. 

102 superior rooms, an all-day restaurant and a fourth swimming pool to open in November . Each superior room features French doors leading to a private balcony overlooking the resort's gardens or pool.

Over the past six months, Outrigger has opened four properties in Asia: Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort, Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort , Outrigger Surin Beach Resort in Phuket and Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort.
