Deputy Prime Minister of Malta and Minister of Health of the country Chris Firn announced the day before that “health authorities continue to implement the roadmap to exit COVID-19.”
As planned, Malta is gradually easing measures to combat COVID-19, including removing travel restrictions. According to the official, from now on, to visit any event — indoors or outdoors — presentation of vaccination certificates is no longer required.
“The decision to further ease COVID-19 travel restrictions continues to be a turning point in the government's efforts to bring the Maltese Islands back to normal. We are confident that in the coming months the tourist flow will reach its previous levels, and Malta will become the center of advanced tourism for the coming years, — summed up the Minister of Tourism of the country Clayton Bartolo.
