Malaysia cancels tests for vaccinated travelers from May 1

From May 1, the country cancels the mandatory testing of arriving vaccinated tourists and children under the age of 12. You will not need to spend money on tests before flying to Malaysia. The wearing of masks outdoors will become optional from the same date, and the requirement to maintain a safe distance will be lifted. Some entry restrictions will remain in place for unvaccinated travelers.

As a reminder, the Malaysian authorities officially opened their borders on April 1, 2022.
