Some beaches in Sardinia have islands in the west of Italy, some of the strictest restrictions on daily attendance will be set. So, no more than 300 tourists per day will be allowed to Cala dei Gabbiani, 300 visitors to Cala Biriala, 250 to Cala Goloritsa, and 700 to Cala Mariola.
La Pelosa Beach on Sardinia has introduced a ban on beach towels — fines start at 100 euros. You can only get to the tiny Cala Goloritze on foot or by boat, while adults will have to pay 6 euros at the entrance, and children under 10 years old – 1 euro.
It should be noted that this summer in Italy, not only beaches will charge an entrance fee and limit tourist flows. The Minister of Tourism of Italy has already announced that visiting the historic Pantheon in Rome is becoming paid, although admission was previously free.
