In the new “Boeings” New Zealand's flagship carrier will install innovative Premier Luxe business seating to provide customers with more space and privacy. And the airline prepared a surprise for economy class passengers — the world's first Skynest sleeping pods.

Research over the past five years has shown that travelers need quality sleep on long flights and want more space and comfort. According to Air New Zealand CEO Greg Foran, the new cabin concept, combined with Kiwi hospitality, recognized around the world, — it's a formula to win the competition.

The Skynest seating system for economy class customers, announced in 2020, is unique in the world. The interior design is inspired by the uniqueness of Aotearoa — The countries of the long white cloud (this is the unofficial name of New Zealand) from the forest-style carpet to the seats themselves, similar to the image of the Kiwi bird — another symbol of New Zealand.
