Airbus A321LR carrying 165 passengers , landed successfully at Heraklion International Airport and upon arrival received a salute from a water cannon.

It is especially symbolic that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Greece. The parties expect that the new route “will create favorable conditions for the tourism industry and the development of cultural exchange and cooperation between people, and will also contribute to the expansion of business contacts.”

Air Astana flights to Crete are operated by Airbus A321LR aircraft three times a week from Almaty.
