Czech Republic canceled control checks for arrivals from abroad

Czech Republic has abolished control checks for arrivals from abroad

Travelers passing through the Czech border now do not need to fill out special forms for arrivals. Moreover, the requirement to present vaccination certificates and certificates of recovery from coronavirus has ceased to apply.

The only thing that tourists should take care of — carefully read the rules of carriers regarding compliance with sanitary standards. At the moment, airlines, bus and railway companies have the right to independently establish and monitor the fulfillment by passengers of the requirements for testing, vaccination, etc.

According to the director of CzechTourism, Jan Herget, it is important for the Czech Republic to remain in the top of popular tourist destinations. “It is necessary to reassure our tourists, partners from major travel agencies and conference organizers that the Czech Republic is an objectively safe place for their customers.”
