The outdated, uneconomical and voracious models will be replaced by modern twin-engine A330neo. It is logical that the next step — modernization of the short-haul and medium-haul fleet. Preference was given to the new aircraft A320neo and A321neo. This will allow the “Condor” significantly reduce CO2 emissions, reduce fuel consumption and reduce noise levels.
The airline has been operating A320 aircraft in its network in Europe for more than 20 years. The new A320neo fleet will be equipped with an Airbus Airspace cabin offering passengers the highest level of comfort.
As of the end of June 2022, the A320neo family has received a total of over 8,100 orders from over 130 customers. Thanks to modern engines and improved aerodynamics, the A320 family models reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by at least 20% compared to previous generation competitors, and also reduce noise levels by 50%. Since entering service six years ago, Airbus has delivered more than 2,300 aircraft of the A320neo family, saving 15 million tons of CO2.
As a reminder, on April 1, the German travel carrier Condor presented a new unusual livery . It was unveiled in Toulouse, France, when the airline's first striped Airbus A330neo left the paint shed.
Condor uses stripes in five colors inspired by beach umbrellas, towels and sun loungers: red — “passion”, green — “island”, yellow — “sunshine”, blue — “sea” and beige — “beach”.
