A climate expedition to the wilds of Antarctica, in which will bring together about 100 people from around the world, is held in partnership with Ocean Geographic. The main goal — counter the effects of environmental change, climate warming and melting sea ice in the south polar region.
The — environmentalists, famous personalities and oceanologists — will formulate a final document of 23 resolutions to inspire all countries to achieve global net zero emissions by 2050.
The 12-day Antarctic Climate Expedition will begin on February 13, 2023 with 2 nights and a full day conference at Ushuaia, Argentina. It will be followed by a 9-day voyage aboard the brand new Aurora Expeditions Sylvia Earle. It will wrap up with an overnight stay after a cruise in Punta Arenas, Chile.
The purpose-built ship that will host the Antarctic Climate Expedition is 100 percent carbon neutral and equipped with specialized equipment and all the modern conveniences on board.< /p>
