AirAsia becomes the first low cost airline to fly to both Bangkok airports

AirAsia will be the first low cost airline to fly to both Bangkok airports

Travelers planning to fly to Bangkok from Kuala Lumpur can now select flights served at the old Don Mueang Airport (DMK) or Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK).

Flights to Kuala Lumpur — Suvarnabhumi (BKK) will be performed twice a day. Currently, AirAsia operates three domestic routes from Suvarnabhumi, flying to Chiang Mai, Phuket and Krabi, and from June it will also launch the first international route Suvarnabhumi — Kuala Lumpur.

Fully vaccinated travelers traveling between Thailand and Malaysia are no longer required to present a COVID-19 test result or quarantine upon arrival. From June 1, 2022, Thailand will no longer require a Thailand Pass to enter the country.
