"Aeroflot" named key events for Q2 2022:
The Group's operating results during this period were affected by the current geopolitical situation and significant flight restrictions.
Group « Aeroflot continued to actively restore traffic volumes after a sharp decline in March 2022, the average monthly growth rate in the 2nd quarter was 19.5%: international flights were partially restored, the dynamics of domestic flights also improved.
In the domestic segment, the Group's passenger traffic in generally increased slightly — by 0.4% year on year, while Aeroflot itself the increase was a notable 23.7%.
On international routes in June, the same figures reached only 50.8% of the level of 2021, which is understandable.
Operational efficiency improved: the percentage of employment seats amounted to 83.7%, an increase of 5.6% compared to 2021. “Victory” showed a record 95.3%, which, however, is comparable to the figures a year earlier: plus only 1.5%.
Aeroflot Group carried 17.2 million passengers, including 14.7 million domestic passengers.
The load factor was 79.9%, an increase of 1 percentage point year on year, in the domestic segment, this indicator was even higher: 82.6%, i.e. plus 1.5% compared to 2021.
The Group's total passenger turnover increased by 3.7% over the year, on domestic routes — by 4.9% year on year.
